As a human food production facility registered with the FDA, the Company may obtain a background check relating to an applicant’s former employment, criminal background, and/or driving records. Every effort will be made to conduct these screenings prior to an offer of employment, however, due to the use of a third-party service to conduct the screening(s), the final results may not be obtained until after the candidate has been offered conditional employment pending final results of the background check(s). The results of these background checks give guidance to the Company when evaluating a candidate for the position. Any negative information obtained in these background checks will not necessarily bar an individual from employment or a position; however, the Company will reserve the right to evaluate the individual based on the information obtained and make a final determination in its sole discretion.
